Cocoa, the heart of Ghana.
ABOUT US:
Cocoa beans are at the heart of every chocolate product, making them one of the most important raw materials in the confectionery industry. The cocoa industry in Ghana has a long and remarkable history. Starting from small beginnings in the early 1900s, cocoa production quickly grew and helped position Ghana as one of the world’s leading exporters by the 1920s.
Over time, West Africa became the center of global cocoa production, with Ghana playing a major role. This growth not only strengthened international trade but also provided livelihoods for thousands of farmers and supported the development of local communities and the national economy.
Today, cocoa farming remains an essential part of Ghana’s identity and continues to shape its future in global agriculture.
MISSION:
To promote and support sustainable cocoa farming.
VISION:
To strengthen Ghana’s presence in the global cocoa market while empowering farming communities.
